Tap to jump. At a bush or bait box, hold Hide.
Touch: tap the game to jump. At a bush or bait box, hold the Hide button (or hold the lower half of the game, or swipe down and hold) to duck into cover. Keyboard: Space or Up arrow jumps, hold Down arrow to hide, P pauses. Mouse: click to jump, hold the Hide button to hide. Bushes and open gaps in houses keep you safe. Bait boxes do too, but bait makes you slow and woozy, and a woozy roof rat can't hide well in bushes until it wears off. Jump the snacks on the path (palm nuts and fallen fruit), or you stop to nibble.
How to play
- Tap to jump. At a bush or bait box, hold Hide. The Hide button glows when you can.
- Owl shadow? Get under a bush.
- Hawk? Jump over it, or hide.
- Palm nuts or fallen fruit on the path? Jump the snacks, or you'll stop for a nibble.
- Glowing gap? Hide there for a breather and bonus points.
- Bait boxes hide you, but bait makes you slow and woozy. Too woozy and you can't hide in bushes. It wears off.
- Keyboard: Space jumps, hold Down to hide, P pauses.
