See your roof from above: spot roof rat entry points before you call
Roof rats rarely walk in the front door. They get in up high, along the roofline, where it's hard to see anything from the driveway. Our free roof check lets you look at your home from above before you ever pick up the phone.
How to use the roof check
- Open the roof check on our site.
- Type your Southwest Florida address and pick it from the list.
- Zoom in on your roof and everything that touches it.
It's free and takes about a minute. We don't save the address you type.
What to look for
- Tree branches touching or hanging over the roof. Roof rats are climbers, and branches work like bridges.
- Spots where two rooflines meet, or where a lower roof runs into a wall.
- Pool cages and lanais that tie into the roof.
- Palms and vines growing right up against the house.
The picture isn't a diagnosis. It just helps you see your home the way we do when we put together your quote, and gives you good questions to ask when you call.
About the pictures
The aerial photos are public USGS imagery from The National Map (USDA NAIP aerial photos, public domain), flown in 2022–23. Your home may look a little different today, especially if you've had a new roof or tree work since then.
